Amethyst Beauty Bar is a small local, women owned business out of Wyoming, MI. We are a full service beauty salon offering a variety of services from waxing to weddings, with the best of the best wedding stylists working to make you feel and look your best on your big day. We strive to excel at all services in or out of the salon including bridal, whether that entails hair and makeup on the day of or cut and color in preparation for the wedding day! We are excited to hear from you about how we can help you have the best day possible. Services Offered Here at Amethyst we want to make your wedding day run the smoothest possible! A big way to help us do that is by coming in for a hair and makeup trial prior to your big day. At your trial session you will come in to the salon for about 2 hours where we will go over exactly what style you want for your day, here we can make sure it works for your hair/skin type, test different things and get an idea of what will happen on the day of. Besides our widely known bridal services we also are a full service salon offering all services including cut, color, extensions, and perms.

August 26, 2023 at 12:00 amI LOVED having Keri and Andrea with me the morning of my wedding. They did an amazing job with hair and makeup for my mom, my mother in law, my bridesmaids, and myself. They truly care about making sure you are set up to have a flawless day. They even reminded me to put my phone away, eat breakfast and lunch, drink water, and relax. I danced so much during my reception but my hair and makeup were still incredible by the time I made it to the hotel room at the end of the night. I felt so beautiful all day and am so grateful for Amethyst Beauty.

They worked quickly and efficiently but were also friendly and chatty with us the whole time. I loved getting to know our two stylists! The results were gorgeous, and each of my girls were able to choose what makeup styles worked for them and their own personal style.

January 10, 2022 at 12:00 amKeri and her team did a wonderful job getting me and my (9) girls ready. She was responsive throughout the planning process and charged a very reasonable price. The trial went well and she helped me decide to add extensions. She came on site with her assistant and makeup artist and the team made all of us look great. She also helped me pick out hair pieces. The one criticism I have is that the curls fell out of the extensions before we even got to the ceremony. The pictures still look great, so overall I am quite happy with the service!

Keri and Tabatha are very talented and a ton of fun to be around, I enjoyed my time with them a lot. They are very accommodating and super helpful in making sure that your look is perfect. My mom (55) was so nervous about getting her hair and makeup done again after having a bad experience with the team my brothers wife used on their day and Keri and Tabatha definitely made her feel so beautiful, my stepdad couldn’t take his eyes of her all night! They were wonderful in helping me figure out my hair and makeup vision, and I love how everyone’s hair and makeup turned out on the big day! She did not charge a fee to do hair services on site, likely because it was within only a few miles from the salon. Was on time and professional, I would recommend.

I was blown away by the skill of the hair and makeup artists. Each bridesmaid had a different hair style and each of them were executed perfectly. I really loved the hairstyle we chose and she was able to do the same hairstyle on my wedding day very quickly. She came to my home with another stylist so all my bridesmaids could have their hair done as well. The updo lasted beautifully all night!! I would recommend Amethyst Beauty Bar to anyone looking for an experienced stylist for any special occasion!!
