Our teachers told us that we couldn’t make a living “just doing weddings” but guess what? Thanks to California’s year-round wedding season and the hundreds of brides who put their trust into us every year we are living our dreams! All of our team members are estheticians or cosmetologists and hold current licenses with the California State Board so you will be in safe (and clean) hands. Why does this matter? Well, we will be getting up close and personal with your eyes and mouths and the last thing you want to take with you on your honeymoon is a nasty infection. Self-taught makeup artists might be very talented but they haven’t been trained in infection control procedures. It’s not worth the risk. In addition to all of the standard professional training that we have received I am very proud that as an airbrush makeup instructor and spokesperson for a major makeup company, I have been able to give my team a level of specialized airbrush makeup training that none of our competitors can match. Why? Because we are lucky enough to be kept so busy, year round. We don’t think it’s fair that brides are always charged more for their hair and makeup so our services are the same price for everyone. Of course we spend a little extra time and attention on your look but it’s just our thank you for letting us be a part of your big day. I had never worn hair extensions before, but I wanted to add length to my ponytail, and I honestly felt like a goddess. My makeup was perfectly light and more natural, which is not only what I wanted but it can also be hard to achieve. My sisters kept saying that my hair was “the best wedding and/or bride hair they had ever seen”. My whole bridal party was happy with the results. Alice did a beautiful job on hair styles for my bridesmaids, my mom, and me; and Jennifer did our makeup so perfectly. Our hair and makeup lasted for 12+ hours (through the windy outdoor ceremony, tears, and dancing). They arrived early on wedding day to set up, and they made us feel so calm and comfortable throughout the getting ready process. Alice responded super promptly to all of my emails and was very organized in sending wedding day information and schedules. We loved chatting with Alice and Jennifer while they did our hair and makeup. Highly recommend Secret Salon!

Alice is so sweet and made me feel supported and comfortable in asking for exactly what I wanted my hair to look like on my wedding day. During my trial, Alice offered great suggestions on how I could achieve exactly the look I was going for. On the actual wedding morning Alice and Jennifer were able to help me and my girls feel calm and confident going into our big day. I had Arasely do my hair and makeup and she was particularly amazing! She totally listened to my requests for a natural makeup look and my hair was exactly like the inspiration pictures I showed her. I seriously have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Plus, the prices are so reasonable, especially for bridal hair & makeup. Couldn’t recommend more!

I met Alice for a hair and makeup tutorial and immediately loved her. Alice is so sweet and made me feel so beautiful. I wanted just a simple half up/half down curled look with natural makeup. She did airbrush makeup (a must!) and I ended up getting extensions because it made me look so glamorous! I looked absolutely stunning but still like me, which is exactly what I wanted. She arrived early at my hotel room for the big day and was way ahead of schedule in churning out three hairdo’s, in addition to doing makeup for my mom and me. I showed her a couple inspiration photos for my hair and Jane just ran with it to craft the most beautiful hairdo. December 28, 2014 at 12:00 amI have not yet had my wedding so I can’t comment on my hair and makeup for that yet, but I had my trial done a few weeks ago and Alice is amazing! She listens to any comments or concerns you may have and definitely takes them into consideration while working her magic. I got my hair and makeup done here to test it out before going to a Christmas party and I got so many comments! I felt so pretty, and I can’t wait for her to do this for me again in March for my wedding!
