Planning a wedding during COVID was definitely a challenge, but Mayra and her team were amazing. When we needed to push our wedding out a year, Mayra worked with me to update the contract. When some of the wedding party was not comfortable attending, Mayra allowed me to adjust my wedding party up to the week of the wedding. Not only did my hair and makeup come out beautiful, but she helped make planning for my bridal party a breeze. I highly recommend her and her team!
I cannot recommend Kat Laskey and Absolutely Beautiful highly enough. I really struggled to find someone I was excited about based on portfolios/websites, since the end product is so dependent on a bride's personal taste - I felt like I just kept seeing lots of polished curls and sleek updos everywhere I looked (which are beautiful! just not exactly what I envisioned for myself) and wasn't sure if I would be able to find someone who could make me look like a gorg, upgraded version of myself vs. just a generic beautiful bride. Claudia was amazing. She did my bridal hair and make-up and she really paid special attention to what I was asking for. I have really thick and long hair so she made sure she found a way to keep my hair in the up-do for the whole night and keep everything secure. I had compliments on my hair all night! The make-up was extremely well done and she made my eyes pop in a way I've never seen before. She also did my mother's make-up and made her look 20 years younger. Highly recommend this service to anyone!
Kim and her team were amazing to work with! It was a wild time planning a wedding during a pandemic (with multiple date and venue changes), and Kim's help throughout the final stages of the planning process was greatly appreciated. She was super sweet and very talented - myself and my bridal party were so happy with how everything came out. I even had my bridal hair/makeup trial on my birthday (randomly) and Kim showed up with a little gift, it was so unexpected and so very appreciated.
