My daughter was the retiring Queen Isabella for the SF Italian Heritage and we Yolanda to do her hair/makeup for both the Grand Ball and Parade. Yolanda was outstanding and did a beautiful job for both events! My daughter (and myself, as she did my hair and makeup for the Grandball) was constantly being complimented on her hair and makeup at both events. I would highly recommend Yolanda for any special event you may have!
Brittany at Elite Makeup Designs was referred to us by our photographer Yair Haim and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Brittany and her team arrived on time, got us all GORGEOUS and we were all ready in time for the BIG EVENT. The Hair & Makeup lasted beautifully throughout the evening. We will forever recommend Brittany to anyone & everyone!
The girls were fantastic! We had them come to our venue for our wedding day (Bay Pointe Golf Club was the BEST, by the way). I had contacted multiple places for my hair and makeup before deciding on Primp. I am very picky in this area and so were many of my bridesmaids. But, at my trial, I was VERY pleased with how everything turned out and really enjoyed working with Joanie. The day of, she and the other stylist (her name slipped my mind) were on time and things went just as-planned. I loved my hair and makeup and so did each of my bridesmaids. It lasted ALL DAY. Highly recommend!
I was unfortunately not very happy with my experience this time with Detroit Glam. I hired Jordan in October of 2014 knowing I wanted to use her services again for my wedding. I felt like she was overbooked and often took a long time to respond to my emails. When I did my trial, she repeatedly texted me the day of (even know we booked the date/time a month in advance) asking me if I wanted to meet earlier since she had a large block of time between my appointment and another bride earlier in the day. She also kept complaining about the construction traffic near the salon and was worried it would take me a long time to... Read more
This review is way overdue but Kat knows I'm currently deployed and I didn't want to rush into a short review because Kat and her team deserve an amazing review! I was planning a wedding in LA from Hawaii. I met Kat thru my wedding planner Jackie Murphy. I met Kat for the first time at my trial. I brought my oldest and youngest daughters with me and Kat was super sweet and patient with them. I showed her pictures of how I wanted my hair and she did exactly what I wanted!
