Shade and Strand did an amazing job on my hair and makeup as well as my mom's for my wedding day. I did not do a trial because I trusted the professionals and I couldn't have been happier! They did up-do styles on my mom and I. Every step of the way they checked in with us to make sure we liked what they were doing and that we felt comfortable. Definitely go with Shade and Strand!
Monica and Lydia were the best!! Very communicative throughout the booking process and made planning easy with our group for hair and make up looks. I did a bridal trial with Monica and felt like a princess with the finished product. She made great suggestions to accentuate my features! I felt amazing and all of my group did as well. She had such a large choice of products to choose from and the makeup lasted throughout the entire day! Highly recommend!
I worked with Carrie for hair (and bride’s makeup) and Tonya for makeup. Carrie and Tonya both showed up early (which is impressive with a 7 am start time), and we actually ran ahead of schedule! This Type A, highly anxious bride was SO HAPPY. Carrie and Tonya were both kind, professional, and so talented! Carrie did an especially wonderful job on updos and with my curly hair. Hair styles and makeup both lasted all day, which was amazing for a humid June day with outdoor photos prior to a 5 pm ceremony. Not a single woman had an eyelash come unglued or a bobby pin fall out. I felt like an absolute princess and was so happy to just relax and let Carrie and Tonya do their thing!
