I interviewed several make-up artists and had one trial after Lena's trial and Lena was hands-down the BEST of them all. Lena is on-time, professional, friendly and flexible. I had a bridal party and had to keep getting up while she did my make-up and never once did I feel she had any type of attitude or negativity. I had a difficult time with using Glamsquad for my bridal party. First, you don't get direct contact with the vendor. I had to give my planner the 800 number to confirm the reservation. Two, my maids were not happy with their hairstyles which led to the stylist being there longer than planned. Glamsquad charged me extra for this, and then called me about it ON MY WEDDING DAY as I'm trying to get dressed. It was not the right time for them to reach out about the issue and added a layer of stress that I just didn't need at that moment. I ended up having my credit card company handle it instead. In the end, my girls looked great but it was more hassle than it was worth.
Tracy and her assistant did an amazing job the morning of my February wedding! They were timely and all of my bridesmaids and I felt beautiful! I would highly recommend Goddess Effect Artistry, as they did such beautiful work at a great value!
I am sooooo happy with the work that Goddess Effect Hair & Makeup Artistry did. They came on time and ready to do both hair and makeup in 2 hours for 8 girls. They were so kind and listened to every request, the girls just loved them. I am going to recommend them to all of my friends and family who are getting married. Thank you Tracy!
Kristen, Sarah, and MJ from Veil of Grace serviced all the hair and makeup for my wedding, and they were excellent! Sydney was also a wonderful point of contact for the company throughout the whole experience from the trial to the actual day. The bride, bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride and groom absolutely LOVED their hair and makeup. They took direction and were flexible. They were friendly and were a very pleasant addition to the day. Would use them in a heartbeat again, and would recommend them to all my friends and family!
