I create custom Watercolor Paintings of people, dresses, jewelry, shoes, settings or anything else memorable from the occasion that you want to preserve in distinctive and enduring Watercolor art. Prior to becoming a Watercolor artist I painted faces working as a makeup artist and hairstylist in sunny San Diego, CA. When we moved to majestic Black Forest, CO I traded my makeup brushes for Watercolor brushes. I enjoy painting commissions and collaborating with clients to achieve that special piece of art that also make great gifts! My art has been featured in galleries in San Diego, CA, Fallbrook, CA, Lafayette, CO and most recently in Denver, CO at D’art Gallery. While the transforming effect of a creamy foundation or a tint of blush to an otherwise monotone complexion gets me every time, I am enamored with the unlimited possibilities of what can happen on paper just by adding pigment to water then continue with layer upon layer of translucent paint to an otherwise blank slate. That is how I am able to create luminous effects with Watercolor.
