Services Offered Motor City Cosmetics offers consultations and trial runs for brides and attendants, and can accommodate wedding parties of up to 15 people. Hair services include blowouts, coloring, haircuts, extensions, updos, and styling. Tara’s cosmetic services include airbrush, contour, eye, and natural makeup, as well as false lashes. I even asked her to do my eye shadow completely different than what we did in the trial and I was so nervous but it really turned out better than I even imagined. Tara and her team were a lot of fun to have in the bridal suite while getting ready! She is one of the only makeup artists that would come to me on-site without needing a minimum of 5 people. I am really happy with everything and will recommend Tara to all brides in the downriver area!!!

It’s nerve racking letting someone control how you look on your wedding but wow she %100 delivered! From my trial to the big day she just made me feel the most beautiful I’ve ever felt!! You get quality, professional work. Tara did 7 people for my wedding AND me(the bride). She scheduled it perfectly, and stayed on schedule all day long. Not only did she cater to our cosmetic needs, she made our bridal party feel welcomed and special, which was so important to me. She also did eye lash extensions for me the day before the wedding, which looked INCREDIBLE! I received compliments on them for weeks. Basically, she’s an incredibly talented make up artist, with good pricing and excellent professionalism. If you haven’t booked her yet, you should!

I had a hair and make-up trail before my wedding that I used for my bridal shower. Tara blew away my expectations for both! It was over 100 degrees for my outdoor wedding and my make-up lasted all day/night. If you book with Motor City Cosmetics, you will NOT be disappointed!

Tara accentuated all of our best qualities with her beautiful work and all the girls had just the right look for them. They all felt they looked their best and not overly done up. I loved my look. I love makeup and love a naturally glamorous look and Tara definitely delivered! All our makeup lasted the very long day and I personally received so many compliments about my makeup on my special day. I felt beautiful and owe my look to Tara at Motor City Cosmetics. I had the pleasure of her doing my hair and makeup when I was maid of honor at my best friends wedding. I was getting married 3 months later and still hadn’t booked someone for makeup.
